Okay,
so i have the fans out, the belt off, thermostat housing off.
now I am stuck because I cant figure out how to get the four nuts/bolts off of the pulley that is on the front of the water pump itself. How can I loosen the bolts without the pulley spinning. I know there is probably a simple thing to do, but my brain is fried after today. I am testing my newbie fix limit.
thanks

I wedged a screwdriver in between the pulley and then just took the bolts out. A pry par works well to, just wake sure the pulley does not move when taking the bolts out.

Sometimes they will break loose if you have the belt on but since you already removed the belt, take a screwdriver and wedge it between any two the the bolt heads so as to prevent the pulley from turning counterclockwise and break loose one of the other two bolts...repeat 3 times.

Okay, just started working on this again. Finally got those 4 bolts out, but the pulley wont come off. Picture below. I know I have to pull this pully to get the old pump off, and then put it on the new pulley. Is it just rusted to the front of the pump, or is there a trick to this. Thanks

Anti-seize is your friend...when you put everything back together, lightly coat the threads and metal to metal mating surfaces...you will make life easier for yourself if you are the guy that has to take it apart again some day down the road.
Also, if the water inlet tube looks like it is nearly rusted out, replace it...Dorman P/N 56398...if you don't and it leaks through, you will be doing the job over again. In any case, note how the original tube lines up before you remove it so that you get proper orientation on the new pump when you transfer or replace the tube.
