Default Washer Low Light On After Cluser Swap

I have a 98 Base Cherokee, and just did a gauge cluster swap to get rid of the idiot lights. The gauge cluster is a 97-01, and everything works great!
Except..... the Washer Low light. So when the old cluster was in, the light was off, and I ran the diagnostic and the light worked ok. When I run the diagnostic on the new cluster the washer light seems to work ok as well. However, when in normal use, the light stays on. Is the washer level sensor different depending on what cluster came with the vehicle?

Thanks

In my 94 I unplugged the wiring for the sensor from the top of the wiper fluid bottle because the low washer light was always on. This makes it so that the light will never come on then. From what I found on google disconnecting the sensor also works for a 98. I have never heard of the washer sensor being different.

Thanks for the reply.

I removed the bulb for the washer light while I had the dash apart, and figured I'd put it back in when I found a solution. Not real necessary, but it would be nice if it worked.

Not worth chasing down to me but you could find a washer bottle with a good sensor in the junkyard and swap them.

I have the same problem on my 98 Cherokee. I am going to pull the light off the cluster.
