Warrior Sideplates on a 2000?
 

I have a 2000 XJ and my rocker panels are rusting badly so I was planning on fixing them then primering them.Then I wanted to install the Warrior Black aluminum diamond plating over it. Would they work because Quadratec says they only work on 84-96 but 4WD.com says 84-01. Will they work?

Yepp. They will work. I have a 99, and just installed them. The only problem I had was the rear quarter guards were a little too round, I needed to flatten them out a bit to make them fit right. Also another suggestion, use black silicone and seal all the edges. It helps keep mud and sand out of the seems, and believe me that it's a pain in the ***** to clean that stuff out.

It says 84-01.

You should be fine, I have a plan to do this in the future also, only difference being I have a hole in the bottom of the door I dont want to look at anymore.

I would cut what rust out you can, sand the rest down and/or use some POR-15 (supposedly thats some of the best rust stuff you can get on the market) and also as stated seal it up, it very well could be the make or break on actually stopping/slowing down rust in the future.
