vibration under feet under acceleration

Anyone have a clue. It feels like its lagging power but if I put it in neutral it revs up fine just does it in gear

bad u joint or bad drive shaft is what it sounds like to me

XJ-92 03-06-2012 09:17 PM

like stated above it could be a bad u joint. do you have a lift? if so you may need a SYE to get rid of vibs since the angles would be all messed up.

driveshaft out of balance? bent driveshaft as well. seen it happen on stock jeeps. Its only felt under load because the driveshaft is bent (weakened) which causes it to flex under tension(on the throttle)

Oh k well the.front Bastard joint/ cv. Thing on the front driveshaft the ujoints do have some play in it and the rear driveshaft u joints are. Brand new. Front axle joints are new new pinion bearings and seals at is like a dadadada n it makes the motor feel laggy its real bad at a stop light or sign on take off it does have a lift 4 inch in front 2 n half in rear on 32 inch tires no trackbar upgrade yet new coil new starter new brakes n rigors I'm stunnedc buddy told me a motor mount but idk

XJ-92 03-06-2012 11:28 PM

try leveling out the back with the front to see if that fixes the problem.

ZINGGG 03-06-2012 11:29 PM

That hurt my brain to read.

It could also be caused by a bad motor mount/transmission mount. Definitely check those too.

I'd start with replacing those front driveshaft ujoints before anything else since you have play in them. That may very well fix your entire problem right there.
