Default Vibrates when i accelorate

ok so when i accelorate my jeep makes a vibrating noise and you can feel it vibrate. At first it was just a very small vibration now it is very bad and very loud and i have no idea what it could be. Its not my steering that vibrates it seems like its the whole jeep and it doesnt seem very safe to drive. I took it to my local shop and they test drove it with me and they didnt have any suggestions just from the test drive what could this be. Also when i go in reverse there is a grinding noise it soundes like everytime something spins

any help please

Start with a crawl under inspection. Chech your drive shafts universals, front axle universals, and check your inside of wheel rims, could be a mud buildup, mine seem to accumulate a layer especially in the rears.

maybe hub bearings? ive heard of instances where a set of really bad hub bearings caused drag on that wheel causing the ride to shake/vibrate

For the vibration, I would say U-joints(?) I had that issue on mine. As for the grinding in reverse, no clue.

For the hub bearings jack up a front wheel, rotate and listen, feel for play, if you have suspicions remove that tire and check again, then jack and check the other side. FYI, I have had a brand new rotor and hub bearing have interference of the rotor on the ear of the hub bearing, rubbing when rotating and that's new parts right out of the box. Was the hub bearing casting, ground some away. Have also seen some of the hub bearings fail in under 100 miles, it's generally worth getting the premium parts.

Disconnect both driveshafts from the TC and rotate both output shafts opposite of each other to check bearings and for play in the chain....make sure u block the Jeep n put the TC in neutral FIRST!!!!!

Look online. I found one for $40. I think they are pricy at the dealer or a parts place.
