First off, when removing the engine be sure to remove/loosen the 2 upper bolts at the top of the bell housing first using an E-12 socket.
LOL. Those stupid bolts I knew of from swapping trannies a few times. I got as far as the old out And the new motor dropped in and bolted up to the tranny. I actually bolted the tyranny to it before I dropped it back on. And did it all together. Went in quite well. Just sat right in.

And now as I could imagine... is gonna be the "fun" part. Haha. Figuring out stuff like the tps which has two plugs on the reni and one on the non reni.

That's if you choose to do this the hard way.

Use your intake and exhaust manifolds and the Renix gasket.
Use your distributor, valve cover, and flexplate.

No gain and only pain screwing around with HO manifolds.

That sounds like a hell of an idea! I was under the impression the manifold ports were different.

The intake ports on the head are a little different. Not much more off than acceptable factory stuff. Nothing that causes problems. That's why you'll use the Renix gasket. I've done a few of these swaps with no issue. Treat it as a longblock awap. Be sure to remove the coolant galley plug on the driver's side of the HO engine before installing it. That's where your CTS will go. It's a 5/16" square drive.

Oh. I wasn't sure if that was it sorry. On the first page people were saying it had to be PMd since it was copyright or something? I misunderstood. Sorry about that.
