i have an 89 cherokee. When i turn my A/C to bi-level (the setting were it blows at the feet) and i give it gas the a/c stops blowing completely, then i let off the gas and i have a/c again. i read somewhere that this is a vacuum leak. can someone confirm this? thanks!

 

Confirmed. Check all your vacuum lines coming from ball, and check your check valves. Mainly the one coming off of the manifold. Do a search, a lot of info on here about vacuum.
