Question vaccum line help

i have a 2000 cherokee and am stuck with trying to find out where and what these lines go/do. i have two lines running from the driverside rear end up to the engine that are hanging there..ones a big steel/rubber one and the other one is a skinny one. there is also a hose coming from the transfer case that is completly shredded and is also disconnected from i dont kno where. Theres a hose from the transmission just hanging too. i have no idea where these all connect to. plz hellpppp!! a pic or diagram would be awesome thanks.

sounds to me like breather tubes for your trans and diffs..mine got shredded on the drivshaft.. I really dont know without looking just my thoughts..

metal and rubber one sounds like a tranny cooler line....one end is connected to the tranny on the driver side and one end into the radiator. There will or should be tranny fluid spitting out of that line when you start your truck....

The only other hose I can think of that tricks people sometimes is the front differential breather hose...it sometime comes disconnected and just hangs there you can pop it back in on the top side of the front diff....the other end should be connected to no where just tied up near the brake booster.
