Now it definitely sounds like a vacuum leak. You should get the code read too while you're at it. Take it to an auto parts store if you don't have a code reader on hand, they should do it for free.

While i was at the parts store i picket up felpro gasket. It seams much thicker and better made than the apn one. Im gona give those 0-rings a check and if those arnt the problem, im gona tear it apart again on friday. Shouldent take as long this time.

Drew, could you have cracked a hard vac line while up there? Those things get so brittle that you look at them, and they crack.

Sounds like if you didn't find it, you will.

Thicker gasket sounds good, if you go there, Yea ^ X2, some of my tubes have cracked and crumbled over the years. My map is up on the firewall, that one really fell apart.

Ill inspect those all those lines while im in there. Im not too bummed about having to take it apart again. It will be alot quicker the second time. Plus i bought a set of ratcheting box wrenches so that will make my life a whole lot easier.

Besides, 4 of the 5 new freeze plugs that i put in are leaking!!!:brickw all:

Alright so it misfired the whole way on my drive to work today. Would a gasket leak or the o-rings cause this?

To "seat" those gaskets you have to run the engine, let cool down then recheck the bolts.
