Urgent help needed please.
so I went out to the ole XJ a few minutes ago and the ignition cylinder jammed, nothing I did could budge it and it ended up breaking, whats the easiest way to go about getting it to start? I have to get to work in the morning and its all I got right now, tomorrow at work I can replace the whole thing but Im in a pinch at the moment... 1990 cherokee limited, 4.0 auto

How would I go about doing that? In the midst of this thing taking a **** on me I got angry and broke some more stuff off of it but its still not budging despite anything I threw at it.

the steerin whell has to be removed and then the lock can be even if you were to hot wire it you have to get the steering wheel unlocked

take a scerw driver and pry under the chrome part of the ignition see if you can pop the guts , or do what this link show its should be the same coloum you have just a different steering wheel set up you use a gm key correcthttp://www.keybitslockandkey.com/los.../gm/gmlock.htm
