Upper Radiator Oil line Problem

3 Attachment(s)
Hi, I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I damage the upper oil line hose when
I was trying to take the hose off, the whole top part started to twist around causing it to bend. So I'm trying to repair it with a new one. I'm having a problem disconnecting the silver oil line from the rubber hose that runs underneath the engine which seems to be connected with a retainer clip inside. I'm not sure how to disconnect the metal oil line from the rubber hose. I tried pulling it out but I wasn't sure if pulling it out is a good idea, didn't want to damage anything else. How do I get this out so I can put a new oil line in? Or do I repair the damage part with a rubber hose clip to the metal.
Thanks!

Buy ac/ fuel line tool kit from advance auto, it help push the spring inside the tube apart so u can pull the hose out.

yep, or quick disconnect tool. The set will come with different sizes forr different lines.
I made one from a sharpy pen cap, because the sets are obscure here and I couldnt wait for some order via internet ;)
