I have this unused connector above the bumper, bottom of grill on my 2000 4.0 classic. It's located on the (what I believe to be called) the header panel that the bumper and grill bolt on to. 2nd pic is a little useless but anyways.... Anyone know what this is? It's not related to my stock fog lights, those work fine. Thanks

 

My guess would be its the overhead console temp sending unit. My guess is you don't have an overhead console??? Like I said, this just my guess as to what that looks like.

If it's not for the factory fog lights it should be for ambient temp sending unit.

 

That makes sense, PO installed a moonroof so if there was an overhead at one time.... It's not now. Thanks all.

 

Overhead console or not....most of them come prewired.
That's a Temperature Sending Unit pigtail.
