Lightbulb Under tha hood

Ok, so the light under my hood doesnt work. If its the bulb, where can i get a new one?

At your local under hood light bulb store...

mine aint never worked and I rather it not so it don't run down the battery when i leave the hood up/

Think it is a 90 or 105 bulb. This is listed in the Haynes on page 12-1

I change the bulb in mine about every 3 months. Seems to be pretty comon to burn out.

We have a drop light that we modified to fit in the cig. lighter for a light if we break down! If we at the house we have huge Halogen lights on a stand!

they dont last long because of the under the hood heat. just keep a flashlight in your jeep you can use that for more then just looking under your hood in the dark

Those things are pretty much worthless anyway, IMHO!! I've never been to impressed with their light output. I keep a MAG in my XJ for night "repairs"!! BTW, the led mags are badazz for battery life and light output!!

Keep a mag and a mini mag in your jeep. Those little lights dont do anything.
