We replaced a heater core, dash out, etc., put everything back together and there is no power anywhere (lights, dash, ignition). We had the steering column down of course, and I've messed up something. The only thing I can see is this part of the wiring harness, and it looks like I've pulled and broken these wires, but I don't know where the broken end goes (to re-wire it). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
(Or any tips on where to measure voltages under the dash, fuse block, etc. to troubleshoot this.)

That long one that's hanging down? Without seeing the other end in the connector, I'd say Cruise Control (assuming you have it). It runs up the column to the stalk.
Thanks. Forgot to add all of the details.
I It's a '91, 4.0l, automatic, no airbags. It's the long black wire in the picture above that I think has been pulled out of some other plug. Here is a picture of the other end of that wire/bundle.
So the lighting is too bright to tell for sure but it still looks like the Cruise control switch cable. Do you have CC? Take the other end out of the connector. Does it look like this?
Thanks! I think you nailed it. The wires are blue/red/green/yellow, and I think it is definitely meant to go to the cruise control (mine does have CC).
Any thoughts? My guess is a disconnected CC switch is unlikely to cause these symptoms (no sign of power anywhere, interior lights, dash, ignition, no buzzing with the key in and door open).
I've checked the two other switches on the column as much as I can see (one on the top left side, one kind of on the bottom right side), and it looks like they are still plugged in. I didn't un-plug anything on the column, but as the CC mess shows, I probably let it it drop way too far when removing the dash. I'm hoping to find a couple of places to measure voltage? Something like, "key on, you should see 12V here", "key off, 0V". Something that might help narrow down ignition switch/wiring problem vs possibly something else.
(Edit: Took off the CC stalk/switch and that is definitely where the broken cable is from. But I still have all of the above questions.)
