i will check that out. sometimes it sounds like it coming from the front, other times the rear, and sometimes the middle of the jeep.

mine makes a clunk noise too when I hit bumps, I found my one exhaust hanger is broken and my passenger side sway bar link is loose at the axle. I have not fixed any of these yet so I cant say for sure it will go away. What I did to find my noise I had someone bounce the front end up and down while I looked at all the suspension.

mine started popping on the left side front when i would hit bumps especially those ones at the mall so i greased up the ball joints, it went away, i didnt grease the right side ball joints cuz im dumb and they started popping a month after the left quit, so i greased them and they quit, they started back up really bad so i replaced all four ball joints and the popping went away

mine was rather loud, i mean it was real noticable with the radio up and sometimes i'd be just turning and it would pop. It could be multiple things really. Ball joints, track bar, shocks, steering...

I lived with this noise for a couple months until it drove me crazy and i thought it was the tranny, so I got worried and tried to fix everything i thought it was just to make sure it wasnt it. Turns out its the exhaust, and it doesn't really move unless you go under there and strong arm it so its real hard to tell. My muffler was bouncing around when ii put the flowmaster on so i took some corn husks (cause they wont burn) and put them in between some air duct tape (cause its metal) and made a cushion where it was bumping the floor boards. the other place is the pipe that bounches on that crossbar, the support bars. I tightened a big hose clamp around it and it never bounced again. The picture is a crappy representation of what i did. Its a two dollar fix, you might as well try that first.

well i think i figured it out. since i have long arms there is extra stress on my crossmember. a nut in the frame broke off on each side so there was only two bolts holding my crossmember on each side. there is supposed to be three with the kit. so i just welded the crossmember to the frame. seems to be well again
