U-bolt question
 

hey all, merry x-mas in avance.
when changing or re-installing axles, if your installing new U-bolts, are they supposed to fit in the plates ? or do I need to bend them to fit :wallbash: ?

I have to move it about half an inch.

Sounds like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much. What axle do you have?

d30 or d35 in the rear?

35 is the rear axle. If the u-bolts measure 3" inside to inside they are for a Chrysler 8.25". D35s are 2.75"

i ordered new ones and they fit right in on mine.
