My 2000 Cherokee has bee doing this for about 6 months now...
My turn signals work for about one blink, sometimes... other times they dont come on at all. Then other times they work fine. But not for more than a day.
The frustrating thing is... my hazards work all the time. All day. Every day.
Anyone know what could be the problem? Has this happened before? Easy fix?
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Ok. Just a couple issues, the diagram you sent is completely different than mine. I don't see a flasher relay anywhere and the manual doesn't say anything about it either.
Also, my fusebox inside the passenger-side kick panel, the diagram for that is supposed to be on the inside of the cover (according to the manual) and it isn't!
So weird...
I'm running some errands right now but when I get back I'm gonna google some info on my fuses and relays.
So confusing...

the emergency flashers and turn signals are controlled by a "combination flasher relay" in a 2000 cherokee. This is NOT a standard relay (most of them are RED in color).
In a 2000 is is not located in a fuse box. It is located in a wire harness connector which is secured to the diagnostics splice block bracket outboard of the steering column opening underneath the instrument panel (you will need to remove the kick panel). The combination flasher cannot be repaired or adjusted and, if faulty or damaged, it must be replaced.

You need a new one, just plug and play.

Years ago my dad's jeep (a 95) had the same problem, but fortunately it was a quick fix because the relay was buzzing something fierce. Replaced relay, all was well.
