Turn Signal and Power Window Issue
I am having two electrical issues with my 2000 Cherokee Classic.
#1: Turn signal will get stuck in the lit position, for both right and left. Seems to be worse some days then others. Perhaps I need to check the switch / relay and remove dirt or corrosion? I take it this is probably located on the steering column, so I'll dig around tomorrow looking for it. #2: Power windows works all the time on the driver's side door, but will cut in and out for all the rest of the doors. This issue is only related to the power windows - the power locks always works on all doors. Any help, particularly on issue #2, is appreciated. Thank you. |
my left passenger window is doing the same thing except today it wont go back up at all grrr

When you say your turn signals stay on. Do you mean the lever won't return or the light comes on and wont flash?
As for you windows check out this link. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/win...working-13287/ |

You may want to check the wires that run through the door jamb into the doors and see if by any chance the wires are cracking, a very common problem.
"dont use paper clip ues insulated wire or scotch lock...https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/wind...working-13287/" You are absolutely correct! I should have mentioned that. Thank for adding that. |
