X2 on that making half doors project, those keep you a bit safer as well as keep some of the grime out of the rig. Of course you can put a screen, fabric or mesh over the tube doors to do the same, but it lacks in safety a little. I know your probably not caring about that though.

I wheel an 00' 4DR and have made tube doors from a older blazer/bravado spare tire carrier. Just cut the tire carrier and HUGE IRON hinges off and their very light weight and easy to weld easier to use hinges on. Each side ran me $7.50 from Pull-A-Part......Or buy the Warrior products tube doors for $199!

think i gonna build me some tube doors to. i looked at doin half doors and everyplace i looked wanted way to much for the doors for me to just cut up. lemme kno how the tubes turn out

My buddies tube doors are fairly simple and look great. Simple bent tube running to factory hidges. And a little bracing between for looks and strength.
