Troubleshooting aux fan

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with the aux fan on my 91' XJ Limited. It will turn on with the A/C, but won't turn on by itself when the A/C isn't on and the temp gets up to 218 or whatever it's target temp is. The fan is definitely working, I replaced the coolant temp sensor in the thermostat housing, and I know the relay is good on the inner left fender. I went through a troubleshooting guide on a website I found and it's telling me to double check the "Fan Relay Fuse Link". I can't seem to find it anywhere, any ideas where it's at? And what else would you guys recommend checking to help me out?

You can see the component I'm looking for in the upper right part of this circuit diagram.

Inside of the fuse box under the hood?

It's not that simple is it? I thought it's a fusible link? Like an in-wire fuse?

If the "fan relay fuse link" refers to the relay for the aux fan which would make sense then yes it is in the fuse box (at least on the newer xj's I can't be positive about the older ones).
