I have and its easy. All you need is a hack saw and a couple hammers. I used a rubber mallet and a body hammer to finish the edge. Cut the pinch weld area in between the spot welds creating 1 inch "tabs" I took mine to where the fender jets out a little. Do this the entire arch of wheel well. Than take some 60 or 80 grit sand paper to the edge you cut to and sand it down to the metal. This will minimize paint chipping. Take the rubber mallet and bend the tabs in all the way around. You may want to take the body hammer and finish every third tab so to avoid odd bumps you will have to adderss latter. Make sure to use some body seam sealer on the interior side of wheel wells and spread it inside the wheel well to seal the tabs to the inner fender. This will prevent water from getting inside if a hole is created. Prime, and paint.

I think I am going to do mine too, but I am going to have to leave a drain hole, cause mine are full of water now thanks to the hatch leaking

I hacked mine n folded em under. No issues. They r known for rotting out anyways n I bashed mine on stumps n rocks n all kinds of stuff. Dono about how it looks but im building a bumper that wraps around under the quarters. Once its done and on itll look good and no more bent metal from rocks n stumps n anything else.
