well, my first post anywhere, ever! y'all seem to have some know-how, so here goes. i'm nearly 100% sure i can swap out an '00 cherokee automatic and put in my '98 5-speed/ transfer case/ d-shafts etc. there doesn't seem to have been much change between these years...including options etc..curious to know if wiring harnesses were same. and if there are distinct harness fro trany & engine. obviously computer controls will need to be swaped as well. what ya think?
