Should anyone warn anyone else how much fun it may be separating the dipstick tube to get the pan off? Cruiser is the head guru... f- the screen. Do a few drain and fills, see what happens.

sooo... say someone freaks out and cuts the tube with a sawzall and uses some fuel hose to mend said cut, and then notices an odd sound when the transmission is in drive or reverse but not in park or neutral... a noise not unlike a dull grinding but not loud or seeming to get worser, should someone be worried?
