Want to install a transmission cooler on my 95 xj sport which lines are which the video by bleeping Jeep said the older models may have the return line on the bottom and newer up top where does that place mine.
Ideally, you want the outlet to be on top so you don't trap air in it. Not a huge concern on small tube coils, and some years had it backwards going through the radiator in the FSM. If you're looking for max cooling, plumb it after the radiator cooler. Cold climates, you want the radiator last so it helps get the fluid up to normal operating temp. The rearmost connection on the trans is the return from the coolers and empties into the transmission pan.
