Smile Transmission fluid leak

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and have been adding trans fluid on a regular basis. I have noticed a leak at the area in the photo. Is this a bad seal of some sort? Difficult to replace or will I have to bend over for the local garage?

I'm guessing the output seal as well. Cheap and easy enough to give it a shot.

Just replaced that seal myself. Easy.

Yep it's 2WD. So I pull the drive shaft yoke out and it is pressed in there? I have never seen an output seal before but now is a good time I suppose.

Should be as simple as that. Here's a thread with the same issue. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/tra...2wd-xj-118461/
