Default Transmission cooler line bolt housing

I have a 1991 Jeep cheroke lorado and where the cooler line bolts (the front one). The outside of the bolt hole has busted out and the bolt for that line won’t start cause it’s causing it to bottom out. Can I find something to adapt to my threads to make them longer and get it to start? Or what should I do

Are you talking about the quick disconnect fitting or the elbow part that connects to the rad?

Couple of photos would help to clarify what you are dealing with.

Default Here’s a pic. The transmission cooler line goes to this hole on the transmission.

Well, it's not pretty but it looks like there is enough thread and metal left to screw in a fitting.
