transfer case rebuild
I've been having issues with my 4 wheel drive engaging plus my t case leaks like no ones business so I'm going to Crack it apart and replace the seals and see what's not functioning properly. What would be a good parts list of things I should change while it's open?

What transfer case do you have? Slipping out of gear usually means you need to reset the linkage. It can also indicate some other problem, like old busted mounts
If its not making any noises then you probably only need to replace the leaky seals. Get a tube of Right Stuff gasket maker to seal the case back together, thin bead spread with your fingers, then let it form up a bit before pressing together. You will also need to use some on any bolts that go into the case, or else the fluid will crawl up the threads.
You might find more problems when you get it open. If you can stretch the chain enough to make it touch the shell then its time for a new one. Pads on the mode forks are often busted or missing. Usually this stuff shows up before you bust it open.

Slow up. What is it doing that you think you need to crack it open? Where is it leaking from?
If it is one or both of the outputs you can change the yoke seals with out pulling t case. Also if it is just not shifting or not staying in 4wd try adjusting linkage first.
Follow these instructions.
Loosen adjustment bolt. Once you have the Adj. Bolt loose, manually shift the case into 4low from underneath on the t case. Go back up top and place the shift lever in 4low, with a 1/8" drill bit in between the shift gate and shift lever, bungee in place, go back underneath and tighten the adj. Bolt.

Both great suggestions here^^.
Those, and making sure it's full of fluid.............
Check fluid level and condition first.
Check mounts second. Bad? Replace.
THEN, adjust linkage. How about a video?
