transfer case problem
 

I have a 231j transfer case in my 98 Cherokee and in wont stay in gear it just pops out. Its a 5 speed .is there any thing I can do to it in the truck or do I take it out a have it rebuilt.and if rebuilt is my only option how much $

might be the linkage cable from shifter to TC. they can loosen and cause it to pop out of 4. there is some more specific info on just what to do in the tag search.
