transfer case mounting stud?
 

Are the stock transfer case mounting studs removable by double nuting and screwing them out of the frame? I'm wanting to drop the transfer case and need to put longer bolts in.

yes they are a lot of people break them, off pb blast and slowly remove it working it in and out

i used liquid wrench, and a pair of vise grips. come right off i didnt wanna try the double nut. but either way works double nut didnt do to well for me...

yes sir they do come out i did the jam nut liquid wrench and some heat came rite out
