trans wont shift out of 1st gear properly

ok so first i have tried a new TPS, TCU, new filter, 1-2gear solenoid and new fluid.

I can unplug the TCU and shift it manually.

With the TCU plugged in I have to accelerate quickly, let off, then resume accelerating and it will usually shift into 2nd.

so at this point I am pretty sure its an electrical problem.

So what next?

Have you tried adjusting the throttle cable? Might be a line pressure issue.

here is a link to a manual for the AW4 transmission http://www.lunghd.com/Downloads_and_...AW4_Manual.pdf I had the same thing happen with my jeep and it ended up being the transmission valve body solenoid. if when i crank it up i dont let it idle down it will still occasionally happen. Also check your tps connector. but check this manual out it explains how to break down and test everything on the transmission.
