Default Trans / Transfer case / CPS

So, with turkey season winding down a bit I finally have time to get some things done on the Jeep...

Tonight and tomorrow I'll be:
-Draining trans / replacing all 3 solenoids, filter, gasket, etc
-Swapping CPS
- Also was considering Servicing the TC with fresh fluids while I am down there

Any hints tips or tricks for completing the above tasks? Should all be pretty straightforward aside from the usual Jeep issues lol (fingers crossed)
Anything else you can think of I should knock out while in the area?

Thanks

Like your preventative maints.

-Replace the CPS with OEM Mopar.
My original CPS lasted 290k miles before it crapped out.
My original IAC, MAP, CAM sensor and TPS were still working fine up to 300k miles when i changed them all out as PM when the engine was replaced. I did have to clean the IAC one time though.
I'm a big believer in using genuine Mopar parts especially sensors as expensive as they are.

-Slop some grease on the slip yoke

-Check U-joints

Did slip yoke last month as well as inspected all U joints. Replaced both front axle shaft joints then as well.
Motor and trans mounts were replaced about the same time.

CPS is being replaced with MOPAR. I've had it for awhile but haven't had time to do it BUT I do believe it has been the cause of a no start twice now.

If time allows I do need to inspect rear brakes and take another look at rear end. I inspected and drained / filled a few months ago but I think there is some excessive backlash. Going to need addressed sooner than later.

Why all 3 trans solenoids?
Why the filter that's not really a filter?
Why the CPS?

Well... all 3 solenoids because the OD / Lock up solenoid needs replacing and I bought the kit. It came with all three as well as the filter / screen and new gasket. For the price I figured might as well do it all while in there.

CPS because I believe it has caused a no start twice now. I have had 2 instances when suffering issues with OD / Lockup where trans temp increases, causing increased engine temp. When I pull over and shut it down I get no restart for the first 5 -10 minutes until things cools down. After some research here and playing with it the second time it happened I had reason to suspect CPS. I know it usually goes belly up when it does, but I've found a few instances where it can have intermittent failure due to heat.
