I have a 97 XJ 4 speed. Recently I had a rubber cooler line for the trans burst and I immediately replace it. Next day I saw the "quick" disconnect leaking from the transmission. So I replaced that with a doorman product. Runs fine but does like to slam into reverse from time to time and is picky about shift points.
No leaks occur while the vehicle is running. I had it idle for about 30 mins and kept checking for leaks. But the the sob likes to **** out fluid overnight. Every morning theres a nice puddle the size of my hand on the ground right in front of the crossmember. I have no clue as to where it could be coming from
any tips are greatly appreciated.

 

Did you replace both quick disconnects on the transmission ?

 

Nope, Just the one with the leak. Both have remained dry as a bone so far.
