Exclamation tranny problem

Doesnt it seem like once you fix one problem another one pops up? Anyways I was driving last night when my tranny stopped shifting. I remember reading somewhere that one of the test procedures was to pull the fuse for the tcu and shift manually. So I did and it seemed to shift fine. My question is the problem the tcu or the soleinoids? Thanks

Most likely it the tcu. Go to a junk yard and see it you can find. Part stores don't sell them and Jeep whated $400 for one.

I forgot to mention if I leave the fuse in and accelerate from a stop it will start in first. Do you think it is still the tcu?

Check the TPS. Check on the sight on how to check it. My jeep did the same. Get a multimeter and check the volts and the ohms.

Replaced the tcu and the tps and still isnt shifting right. Are there any other sensors that go into the tcu. The tranny will shift with my switches but that gets annoying especially when you are doing 30 and push the switch and end up in first.
