tranny fluid leak

Heya Folks, i notice under my jeep this morning there was a small puddle of tranny fluid. it wasnt dripping until i started the jeep, then it started to drip,i turned it back of, popped my head under and noticed it was seeping out of the part where the tranny cooling pipe/line connects to the tranny, i checked to see if it was tight and it was, i undid it and screwed it back very tightly but it didnt work, any suggestions

I had the same problem when i changed my radiator last week, what I did was put some Teflon tape around the threads and it stopped leaking...Tj

ok ill give it a go,but i think that its seeping through the centre, how much tape you rekon

Ok i pulled it off and the rubber seal is all busted up so i replaced it with a genuine rubber o-ring, but the oil is still seeping out of the cooling line. i think its seeping out where the pipe connects to the thread unit, i am thinking of using some all-clear silicon to fix it, but if there are any other suggestions id like to hear them
