Question Trailer lights problem

So my trailer running lights work but no brake or signal, lights stay on always if I turn on my lights on the jeep but nothing if lights are off on jeep? Any ideals.

If you bought a 3 prong wire kit you will only have one or two light functions. You need at least the 4 way connector to get parking and blinkers or brakes.

Your jeep has seperate turn signals and brake lights. Your trailer probably has combined brake/signal lights.

You cannot just connect them directly. You need a trailer adapter that will sense when you are signalling or braking, and translate that to the proper output for the trailer. It's an electronic gizmo.
