track bar relocation bracket

I have a track bar relocation bracket, how does it go on? it looks just like the part that is already on there, plus how is this going to solve the problem of my tire/wheel on the drivers side that sticks out about an inch? it looks like all the parts end up along the frame rail?? does anyone have insight on this

it goes on the axle pass side its the red thing on left side of pic .the yellow hole is where it bolts to where the factory bar did,the green hole is where the track bar is going to mount now, the red hole must be drill thru factory bracket and bolted together.

how does this solve the problem? the track bar seems to be connected to the frame rail?? the upper part of it....

freegdr Jan 19, 2011 10:49 AM

it moves the body of the xj over towards the pass side helping with the centering of the axle under body

U could have someone turn the steering wheel while u try to line it up and slide the bolt in. That's the easiest way

no get the bracket all bolted up and unlock the steering by turning the key to run and turn the wheel the body will mve back and forth just figure out which way to go this must be done with the xj on the ground not on jack stand tires mounted two people really help with this

have you adjusted the toe yet, your going to need to loosen the adjuster at the drag link/ pitman arm with the wheels straight and turn the adjuster and the wheel will turn straight, make sure the steering is un locked
