Default Which Track Bar ? ( Update, Got One)

I have narrowed it down to one of these:
I like the IRO for the fact that it bolts right on, no modifications and it has a replacable tie rod end.
Your Thoughts ?

the problem with the IRO trackbar is that it still uses the factory style joint which is know to go bad and hurts flex thats why alot guys run the RE or something with that type of joint

If it was me I would look for a nice double shear style trackbar. I have the RE1600 and I like it but I still wish I had gone with a double shear style.

deffinitely the RE T-bar, make sure you get the new bracket with it also, yes it will cost more but its way better

I was not considering the RE 1660 with Bracket because:
Added stress on the Unibody, thus also having to buy the Frame Brace.
Will most likely need a Drop Pitman to get the angle with the Drag Link correct.
Also I have the 3.5" lift and the 1660 is for 4" or more so I may have to mod it to make it fit.

I would go with the RE. I've had the same Track bar for years and I think it is the only thing that hasn't broken . . . yet

that RE bar sucks, and the IRO one uses a TRE which also sucks. i've heard good things about the IRO HD one and its fairly cheap compared to say.. the RE HD. i'd go that route.

You do not need the brace. I have run *many* years without the brace and haven't had an issue yet. The bracket is much heavier duty than factory and is wider/bigger, spreading the load over more of the sheetmetal chasssis.

I still stand by the suggestion I gave you via PM. Buy that used 1660 assembly and spend a few dollars to modify it. If you even need to, that is.

You'll be ahead in the long run. A used ZJ pitman arm isn't going to be that tough to find and shouldn't be costly at all.

Why do you say that the RE tbar sucks? Do you have any reason or is it just your opinion. I am about to install that bar with my 3.5 RE SF and would like to know.

I'm curious to see how it comes out.
I noticed that you have a 3" Lift, that setup is listed for 4"-6" of lift.
I'm thinking it is going to push your axle to far to the passenger side.

I took Joe's advice and picked up a used RE1660 Track bar and
Drop Bracket, $80
Just did a trial fit and it is going to work out Perfect.
Not sure yet if I will need a drop pitman arm, but no biggy if I do, there are a couple of ZJ's at the Local Pick & Pull.
I'll get it mounted up proper tomorrow and get a pic or two.
