TPS?
I have a 99 4 Ltr 2WD Cherokee.
10 days ago or so, it lost power and would frequently stall. I purchased a scanner and read PO123 and PO138. I have only a DVM so I could only measure ground voltage and resistance. Grounds were good, 5.2 VDC and 4.6 K Ohm across the TPS. I performed the Mark I eyeball and only found an oily substance in the PCM plug A (where the TPS inputs). The other 2 were clean.
I scanned again and got a PO122 in addition to the other 2.
I just installed a BWD TPS (couldn't afford the 125 from the dealer) the car still won't start.
The car cranks, has spark, and I smell gas. I swapped around the starter,ASD, fuel relays still with neg results.
Anyone have any other ideas.
