TPS
 

I just replaced my TPS and reset the computer but the car is stillrunning at a very high idle, and the code for the TPS keeps coming back. Any ideas?

this is gonna sound really dumb, and hate to ask......

was the TPS installed right? On mine there is a spring lever thing which controls the throttle plate in the intake(throttle body), if its not on right, which I did when i first replaced it. and then took the battery cable off for ten minutes, the idle still went high and still had code coming back.

when I looked at it and re-installed it and yeah disconn batt for ten minutes....the problem went away and she runs fine now.
