Default toyota axles

Worth putting under my xj or not? Found a deal on front/rear toyota straight axles with 36" swampers and wheels for $475.

Techically you could make most anything work under an XJ, its just a question of how much fab work would be required

Maybe you could start a build thread if you end up buying...sounds like an interesting possibility.

ya I figure'd the hardest part would be the front, but figured just buy coil buckets and weld them on the axle tube, and then get tab's for the link bars in the front?

yea that's the problem at 17 don't have much time with school and work and don't have much money due to having a part time job, $200 insurance bill each month, $70 for diesel fuel about every 2 weeks and helping my family with some bill's. Im probley just going to get a ford 9" rear from my buddy's jk and throw 4:56 gears and weld it and call it a day. Thanks guys.

Yota axle are just BadA$$. In stock trim they caqn run 36's. Anyway the front diff is on the wrong side, but that can be fixed by using a d300 t-case. OR you can buy a diamond orspidertrax front toy housing and have it built using the toy axle you have for parts.

At that price I would buy them.. with a plan to sell them, and if they dont sell sit on them, and build when cash allows.
