Default Tomken 6" lift

I bought a 88 cherokee that came with a Tomken 6" that had never been installed. I have looked around and no one seems to use that lift.

What are people's opinion of this kit? I understand that with 6" of lift a long arm kit would make a little more sense, as this kit only comes with adj. control arms. Also, i plan on using JKS disconnects rather than lowering the sway bar cause that just didnt seem like a good idea to me.

Is it good enough for now since it was free??

Thanks!!!

I tried to access their web site and can't. It is under maintenance. What is in the kit? 6" seems high for short arms as well as for stock steering.

Sounds complete, just don't like the idea of short control arms on that much lift. Worth a try since you already have it.

They build a fair product. Most don't use there lifts cause of cost. They are one of if not the most expensive for not really any gain for the extra money..

I ran there bumpers in the past and there like I said fair but very over priced..

thanks for the replies!

Is there a good long arm conversion out there?

I think ill run it for now and see how it goes. Additionally I have a advance adaptors sye going in and I'm going to beef up the steering a bit.

I planned on using OME shocks, anyone recommend bilstein over them?

yeah, mine are adjustable too. i think the idea there was just to recenter the axle, not to correct the uca and lca angles.

You can buy almost any brand of hardware only to make up a long arm package.
