tj tube flares on xj???

tj tube flares on xj???
HAs anyone done, seen, or think its possible with out major modifacation to put tj tube flares like the ones metal cloak makes on an xj?? Because I'm not really happy with any flares that are out there for the xj

I originally didnt care for the buldge fiberglass fenders for the XJ but when i got a pair for $150 locally and knowing how much i can stuff those 32's inside them with a 4 inch lift, i love them to death

ya theyre alright but i really really like the look of the metal tube flare look that they have and the bushwacker tube style it just didnt do it for me

it looks like it could be done with light modification to the flare itself.. at least the ones from metal cloak since they are 2 pieces.... just buy the outside flare and you should be able to find a way to bolt it to the fender... it could be as simple as spacers for the ends..

step 1, get your self a bender, harbor freight special should work.
step 2, get a welder, a decent flux core mig will work
step 3, get some cardboard and sheet metal
step 4 built it your self for probably right around the same cost

well i kinda forgot i started this thread and still am contemplating on how i want to do this but i saw detours xj with the cj headlight and the cut front grill and i think thats what i am going to end up doing soon hopefully but those mc flares are what got the idea into my head i think it would look sweet but im going to fab up my own instead
