Tj seats (front and rear) same size?

Tj seats (front and rear) same size?

Same size as xj..I'm trying to buy a set of neoprene seat covers, its about 1/5 the cost for ones that fit the tj.. look similar. Anyone help me?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I've done alot of searching trying to find some new seats that will just "bolt in", and I've never come up with anything, but I HAVE found new TJ seats, so...

i was wondering the same thing. i thought i saw someone one here that took the seats out of his wrecked tj and put them in his xj. i dont know how much work was involved but he did it. i wish i could find it again.

they're different. The only seats that are a "bolt in" are fronts from ZJ's and WJ's (grand cherokee's). And even then, it's only on '95+ XJ's. Even the ZJ/WJ front seats have to use the XJ mounting and rail brackets to be used. The TJ's fronts could work with some modification. The TJ rear is much smaller than the XJ's. ZJ/WJ rears require some modification to work int eh XJ as well.
