tires rims and adapter question

I found a set of rims and tires that I want to run on my xj. im pretty sure that they are 5x5 so I will need a spacer/adapter. so my question is, what size spacer should I get? I dont know what these are off of, but they are 255/75/17. and as I type this I realized that that means they are about a 32"?

so now Ill have to trim the fenders as well? would simply removing the flares give me enough room to run them on the street? with no flexing or lock to lock turning? they are a great deal, and would look really nice for DD/city driving.

Im supposed to pick them up within the next couple days so any insight would be great

they are off a JKm wheeladapter.com for the spacers if you want them. also they will not fit stock height with out a lot of cutting. or a 2in BB and cutting

well the flares are already removed, and trimming the fenders is a now or later thing, so it might as well be now. my only question now is what spacing should I run? how thick of an adapter do I need? also consider that these are only 10" wide as opposed to most 32s that are 12" that and they have some tread wear, I wouldnt be surprised If I can run them on the street with just the flares removed

Those wheels prob have 5.75" back spacing so I'd run 1.25" spacers minimum.

now as far as 'minimum' there is no reason to have an at least number. if im buying them new then I can buy whatever size I need. so would 1.5 be better? do the front and back need to be the same?

I would go with 1.5-2" but with that said the more you go the more you are going to have to trimm the fenders out to clear the tires when turnning.
