Default Tire Size

I have a stock 2000 XJ and i was wondering how big i can go with the tires without having to put on a lift because i am kind of on a budget,

30"s... I ran them on my 93 XJ with no problems. Some people say they will still hit but it depends on how much your springs have sagged. Also I believe the later models may not have quite as much clearance around the fenders due to the different fender/trim/bumper design.

30x9.50 I think is the biggest you can fit stock

i would say 235X75X15 at most. that is what i have on my stock 01 and they rub a little bit on full turns, i cant image running any bigger
