Put some yellow paint on the ends of the studs so you can see them through the holes in the wheel easier. That's how I helped my son to change wheels a long time ago.
And Welcome to CF.

On the front, turn the hub so that one of the studs is at 12:00. Turn your wheel to match and hang it on there.
On the rear, just look at where the hub is. Turn the wheel to match and hang it on the studs.
You can also sit down, cradle the tire/wheel between your legs, and hang it on the studs. You can see better that way as you go on with it.

My 32s on steel wheels are too heavy for me to lift by hand or with my feet as mentioned above, so when I swap tires I use a flat blade shovel as a lever to lift the wheel up. Just eyeball the alignment of the holes to the studs & move the tire as close as you can to the hub. Slip the tip of the shovel between the rubber & the ground while holding the top of the wheel steady with the free hand. Push down on the handle of the shovel to lever the tire upwards a couple inches. If you lined up the holes well, all you have to do is sort of finesse it into place. Works every time (for me).
