sorry guys i don't know how to post pics but has anyone ever seen the tierod end on the passenger side melt from how hot the brakes get. i was driving home yesterday and when i came to a stop light smoke was pouring out of my pass wheel well. when i pulled over i seen the rubber was melted and the grease was oozing onto the rotor is there any kind of sheild or stronger style tierod i can get.

i think the real problem must lie in your brakes. why are they getting so hot?
i think you may have a seized caliper.
do you still have your dust shields on?

you're not gonna get a tie rod end any further away from the rotor in stock format.
