Tie rod = death wobble
Ok so it seems that all my tie rod ends are shot and are the cause for my death wobble. Track bar checks ok from what i can tell. Now i want to replace them. What exactly do I need to buy? Should I just go with the ZJ upgrade for the tie rod bar? The bushing end of the drag link on the passenger wheel is shot, where the tie rod bar connects to the drag link, where the drag link connects to the pitman and where the tie rod connects to the driver side wheel. I run a stock set up and have no plans for a lift any time soon.
What exactly should I get and from where? I have both a napa and autozone locally. Also noticed that the u joints on the front axel are supper sloppy. Guessing those should get replaced too.

Just to be 100% sure it's these
What I did was grab the joint where the tie rod meets the drag link and twisted it. It pivots all over the place. Is that how I check to see if the ends are bad? Im way noobish at steering stuff.

leave the jeep on the ground, and have someone just slightly shake the free play in the wheel, you will see if someonthing has play in it that way. They are supposed to pivot at least some

Ordered a new track bar to start. If that doesn't help it's on the the tie rod ends. After that I guess all the bushings for the control arms and sway bars. I know the u joints are shot. Rusted up in there real good. Not sure if ill be able to do that myself tho.

You can do it. Borrow a ball joint press from one of the parts stores- it makes short work of popping those old, rusty u-joints out and makes pressing the new ones in a lot easier. Might want to hit the hub mounting bolts with penetrating oil a day or so ahead of time, they were harder to get out than my u-joints.
