i installed a thrush welded muffler onto my 00 cherokee with a 4.0 and at and WOW it sounds awesome. at idle it has a deep lope to it and smooths out while cruising it has no drone to it and has helped the seat of the pants hp for sure lol just some useful info i figured somebody would like to know

 

Good to know, been looking at those cause the Super 40 FM on my YJ got old real quick.

 

i was gonna get the same muffler,but i heard it and i didnt think it was loud enough for me(i like loud exhaust) so im gettin a glasspack for cheaper,but my dads gettin them for his 351w bronco

 

I've got the same muffler and I agree. The sound is pretty nice. Not too loud, but a noticeable difference over stock. The only thing I don't like about it is that it gets a little to raspy at higher rpm's.

 

yeah ive noticed the raspy sound but i try to stay away from the higher rpms lol hurts the mpgs to bad lol
