make sure everything is conected and im sure you already did but it should run, did you do anything else to it?

fivendime Feb 14, 2009 11:18 AM

^ unless you unhooked something that you don't know about thats in the immediate area theres not much to it so it should run.

I pour gas in throttlebody and it start up but can not adjust the TPS

BuckB91XJ Feb 14, 2009 02:22 PM

Go over everything you touched in the tune-up, again. You most likely left something disconnected that you shouldn't have. I.E. a wire or vacuum line. Check over your TB and make sure it's secure, all wiring is tight and connected, All vacuum lines tight. Make sure IAC and TPS are tight, plugged in and adjusted correctly.

I think my problem is TPS? I can not control the RPM's their high and found that my gas return line is leaking some could this effect the starting process

BuckB91XJ Feb 14, 2009 03:01 PM

Both of the things you mentioned will effect the way the Jeep runs.

XJ?2010 Feb 14, 2009 11:11 PM

IAC would cause this problem or the TPS, also you shouldnt have touched it but check the CPS that could cause this problem too
